And join yet a new cool mode from the Friday Night Funkin' where our main protagonists are replaced with characters from the Plant vs Zombies game series. Where Boyfriend is now the sunflower from the Plant vs Zombie game that use to be the most important flower because it provided income(money) and energy. The Sunflower will take on the zombies who want to destroy you just like in the game strategy game. When Sunflower loses a match because it doesn't have a brain like BF she starts crying and saying one more time please ;)). The ''Story'' mode has four weeks with the same option to modify the difficulty of the game as all Friday Night Funkin' games. But the characters now are changed for example:

- In Week 1: GF Dad (Daddy Dearest) is now a farmer, and Sunflower will battle against him in three cool songs with epic rhythms called: Bopeebo, Fresh, Dadbattle
- In Week 2: Spooky Month which this represented by a carnivorous rose plant, with plenty of teeth and roots that are used as an octopus, for her legs arms, and other things. Sunflower will battle against her in three cool songs with epic rhythms called Spookeez, South, Monster.
- In Week 3: Our cool Pico character is now replaced by a mushroom, which has a cool cowboy-looking heat. A microphone in this left hand and in the right hand a small mushroom head. He is wearing a scarf with an emblem and Sunflower will battle on songs called: Pico, Philly, Blammed.
- In Week 3: GF mon (Mommy Must Murder) in this mode she is represented by a cute rose but very poisonous, and dangerous. She moves fast and the rhythms you will battle on are quite aggressive and hard to copy.
In the PlayFree mode you will play versus the same characters with Sunflower on 12 songs and one training song. The difficulty of the games is as they are and can't be modified, so you will have to adjust and play while improving your timing and tapping skills.
